2010-2011 Skater Requirements by Team

Beginner Team:

Team size: 8-16 skaters

No age restrictions

Skaters must have passed USFS Basic 5 or skater is rated ISI level Delta to Freestyle

Skaters must be strong at skating forward & backwards

Skaters must be able to perform forward & backward crossovers.

Preliminary Team:

Team size: 8-12 skaters

The majority of the team must be 9 years of age as of July 1st, 2010

Skaters should be strong at stroking, forward & backward crossovers and all basic turns

Skaters are required to be working on Pre-preliminary Moves in the Field.

Pre-Juvenile Team:

Team size: 8-12 skaters

The majority of the team must be under 12 years of age as of July 1st, 2010

Skaters should be strong at stroking, forward & backward crossovers and all basic turns

Skaters are required to be working on Pre-preliminary Moves in the Field or higher.

Juvenile Team (Qualifying):

Team size: 12-20 skaters

All skaters must be under 13 years of age as of July 1st, 2010

Skaters must have passed Preliminary moves in the field test

A strong understanding of intermediate moves desired.

Open Juvenile Team:

Team size: 12-20 skaters

Majority of skaters required to be 12 years of age or older on July 1st 2010

Skaters must have passed Preliminary moves in the field test

Skaters must have a good working knowledge of all turns to include choctaws, backward three turns and brackets.

Intermediate Team (Qualifying):

Team size: 12-20 skaters

All skaters must be under 18 years of age as of July 1st, 2010

Skaters must have passed Pre-juvenile moves in the field test

Skaters required to be able to perform choctaws, brackets, rockers, counters and twizzles to a high level of accuracy.

The 2006-07 Open Jr. line consisted of 15 members. The theme was Fame and was titled "What a feeling." The music was from the 1980's hit movies Fame and; Flash Dance. Special effects included our side pony tails and the leg warmers, and of course, THE WAY WE SKATE.

2006-2007 Juvenile Team

The 2006-07 juvenile team was 17 members strong. The theme was Hawaii which included native music and moves like the hula.
