- 2010 Reflections Synchro Invitational Results
Sunday, 14 February Once again all of the National Blades Synchro Teams put on a fabulous competition at the
2010 Reflections Synchro Invitational. Four of our five teams were awarded medals at this competition.
The Beginner Team receives special recognition as being the most consistent team this year with two 1st place medals and one second place medal;
stellar job skaters and Coach Meredith. For most of the teams, this was the last competition for the 2009-2010 season, a season
that has proved to be one of the best for the National Blades. Team Video and photos have been posted.
A very special THANK YOU goes out to the Richmond Twizzlers Synchro Team. At the competition, they displayed a huge hand made banner
encouraging our teams to keep on skating even though our ice rink collapsed during the snow storm. The banner included
individually signed best wishes from the team, check out the photos. This kind gesture really shows that the
Synchro community is a tight group of families.

- 2010 Eastern Sectional Synchro Skating Championship Results
Thursday -Friday, 28-29 January Four of the National Blade teams competed at the Eastern Sectional Championship. The
judging was more critical than at the Colonial's just two weeks ago. A round of applause goes out to the Open Juvenile, Pre-Juvenile and Preliminary
teams for qualifying for the second round of competition, great job ladies. There was only one round of competition for the Intermediate team and
even after loosing a point for "too much ice", they were awarded ninth place out of eighteen teams. Be sure to thank
Coaches Teresa and Laurie as together they handled the competition and practices for all four teams during the two day affair, talk about long hours.
Although no medals were received, team spirit, friendship and the competition excitement made this trip well worth the effort.
Team Video and photos have been posted.
