01/28/2012 - Eastern Synchro Championship Results Saturday, 28 January This year's Eastern Championship was held in Hershey, PA. It rained most of the time which was much preferred over snow. Both of the National Blade team significantly improved their program since the Colonial Classic earlier this month. Our Pre-Juvenile team was awarded 4th place in the first round enabling them to compete in the final round. Everyone was very excided about the Pre-Juvenile team qualifying for the final round. In the final round the Pre-Juvenile team place 9th with another great performance. The Intermediate team performed a nearly flawless program and was awarded 15th place, which is an improvement from last year. Click here to see the videos. During this competition, Emily Hodges was able to root the team on in person. Emily skated on the intermediate team last year but due to medical issues was unable skate this year. We were all ecstatic to see Emily and her parents and look forward to her skating with us next year.
	01/13/2012 - Colonial Classic Results Saturday, 5 January The National Blades teams performed excellent programs at the Colonial Classic Syncro Competition. Our Pre-Juvenile team was awarded 8th place and the Intermediate team took 12th place, great job ladies.. For the intermediate team, the score different between 12th and 8th was only two points, a goal for the next competition. There were several positive factors this year that made this trip very enjoyable; with one exception, we were given a great schedule with late morning activities and the unusual warm weather kept the snow away. 	12/04/2011 - Practice Update Sunday, 4 December Additional practices have been arranged. Both teams will skate both Wednesdays and Sundays through Colonials and Eastern's according to the following schedule, beginning with Wed Dec 7th. Please contact Coach Teresa if/when there are individual conflicts. Please plan homework accordingly after school during the week so that we can maximize attendance, and use of the ice we have already purchased. Wednesdays at PWIC: Pre Juvenile 5:45 off ice - 6:10-8pm on ice, Intermediate 7-8 pm on ice. Sundays at Haymarket: Pre Juvenile 5-6:15 pm on ice, Intermediate 5-8 pm on ice.
	12/04/2011 - Terry Conners Results Sunday, 4 December Congratulation to both teams at their performance at the Terry Conner Open. While the judges results were not as exciting as we could have expected, we did have a great showing against some pretty tough competition. The team dinner and the exchange of gift was a lot of fun and helped to built team spirit. Click here to see the videos.
	11/6/2011 - Carolina Classic Results Sunday, 6 November For most who went, the colorful drive to Durham,NC was just the start of a great weekend. The Saturday evening was mostly bonding time for the girls which included a team dinner and several meetings. Sunday was game day, arriving at the rink at 8am for practice and competing around 11am. Congradulation is in order for both teams with the Pre-Juvenile Team taking second place and the Intermediate team taking third. Great job ladies. 	10/13/2011 - Used Skate/Dress Sale Thursday, 13 October Used Skate/Dress Sale, Saturday October 29th at Haymarket Iceplex 10 am till 6 pm. Come out and see what we have! There will also be hot chocolate, apple cider, and hotdogs for sale. Proceeds will go to the National Blades to be used for team season expenses.
